| Protecting the futureOur core business is the repair and restoration of masonry on heritage properties, churches and ecclesiastical buildings, drawing upon almost fifty years of experience. Our historic and heritage buildings today are under assault as never before. The original master architects masons could never have been expected to foresee acid rain from atmospheric pollution, vibration damage from relentless traffic flow (particularly bad for centrally sited town buildings) and unfortunately poorly executed unsympathetic remedial works - which have often done more harm than good both structurally and aesthetically. We offer a range of masonry renovation services:
In 2007, Waterways Ireland commissioned Finns Restoration
Division to rebuild the collapsed & derelict Lock 45 on the Royal Canal,
Co Longford, using traditional materials, methods and like-for-like
replacement & repair of the Ashlar masonry limestone. The project
was delivered on time and on budget for the client with Finns providing
bespoke solutions to match the Victorian engineering of original construction.
